Augustana’s Master of Arts in Education program is taken over a 19 to 24-month period, using a cohort model. Candidates proceed through the program in cohorts of 18 students, which lends support and offers varied perspectives and knowledge to the experience.
The 30 credit-hour program consists of 21 credit hours of core classes, and nine credit hours in one of five concentration areas. Three starting terms, Summer, Fall and Spring, five concentrations and multiple cohorts running at the same time, preclude a generic Plan of Study.
