Practice what you learn.
From hiking to biking to swimming to tennis to archery, we serve not only our majors, but the entire campus community with classes that promote healthier lifestyles.
Our students practice what they learn in rigorous practicum situations that let them create experiments and test their hypotheses with volunteers from across campus. We’re proud to teach the problem-solving skills that give liberal arts majors an advantage in their post-college careers. And since coaches of our successful intercollegiate athletic teams teach many of our classes, students benefit from their practical experience, as well.
Plus, some of the internships we require for each major can be and are done on campus. Students serve as personal trainers to volunteer faculty members or as athletic training students for the Viking athletic program. You will apply what you learn to the real lives of real clients.
