Our small classes are always led by professors—not teaching or graduate assistants. We teach, moreover live and in person, and not via video or distance courses. As a result of this personalized attention, our professors make every learning experience apply to the world in unique and creative, yet practical ways.

Some recent course offerings include:

  • German Song in History—Experience German culture and traditions through the study of German songs from past to present
  • Central and West African Cinema—Discover some of the great films and directors of French-speaking West and Central Africa
  • Spanish for Health Care Professional—Master medical terminology in Spanish; this course is especially popular with nursing and pre-med majors
  • Conversation and Composition—Gain increased written and spoken language proficiency through role-play, intensive grammar review, podcasts, and a variety of creative written assignments
  • Latin American Cinema—Survey the evolution of Spanish cinema within the context of the regions complicated political history
  • French Seventeenth Century Theater—Discover thrilling tragedies and hilarious comedies by Corneille, Racine and Molière
