Beth Karel co-teaches Introduction to Professional Nursing, leads clinical and skills labs for multiple courses, and is the co-coordinator of the simulation lab. Her research interests include the dimensional analysis and medication dosage calculation, informatics and simulation. She also maintains practice in the Avera McKennan Intensive Care Unit and Electronic Intensive Care Unit. Beth received both her bachelor's degree in nursing and master's degree in nursing education from South Dakota University.
