Jean Herrmann, MSN, Ed
Jean Herrmann is a faculty associate for the nursing department. She teaches "Nursing Therapeutics" and "Child Health Nursing" at the junior level and "Nursing Leadership" at the senior level. She also teaches "Medical Terminology" in the summer. She assists with coordination of skills and simulation labls for the junior level along with advising senior internships. She serves as junior level coordinator and is involved in the Culture of Caring Practice Model at Sanford Hospital. She enjoys her clinical adventures with students including service learning at The Banquet in Sioux Falls. As one of the faculty advisors for the Augustana Zeta Zeta Nursing Honor Society, she has the privilege of working with recent graduates as they develop their leadership skills. She continues to work in practice in a neurosurgery spine clinic and as a visiting nursing. Professor Herrmann obtained her bachelor's degree from Augustana College and master's in nursing with a focus in education and leadership degree from Regis University, Denver, Colorado.
