Dr. Fritz is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Augustana College, Department of Nursing. She teaches the Behavioral Health Nursing courses -- both clinical and didactic -- at the senior level. She also facilitates dialogue groups with students at the junior level, and has developed and taught a 3-credit General Studies course, Introduction to Forensics. Dr. Fritz serves as a faculty advisor for the Augustana Nursing Student Organization (ANSA) and Nurses' Christian Fellowship (NCF). Her research interests include nursing history, moral and ethical concerns in nursing, and forensic nursing. She has extensive past experience in hospital nursing, private practice, coordination of internship and mentorship programs, and in other nursing specialty areas of practice. Dr. Fritz is a graduate of Sioux Valley School of Nursing. She holds a B.A. degree in Sociology from Sioux Falls College (now USF), a MS degree from the University of Minnesota (Mpls.) and a Doctor of Nursing Science (D.N. Sci.) from the University of San Diego.
