Getting to Sioux Falls from anywhere in the world is easy. The Sioux Falls Regional Airport (FSD) is served by Delta, United, American, Allegiant, and Frontier Airlines. The International Programs Office at Augustana offers free pick-up service from the airport for new students.

Students who cannot conveniently fly into Sioux Falls should consider Jefferson Lines, which provides bus transportation throughout the region.

Lyft is a rideshare company that provides reasonably priced rides throughout the city.

Sometimes international students choose to pool resources to purchase and share an inexpensive car.

Sioux Falls has an extensive bike trail system. The Augustana Bike Club holds bi-weekly rides during the fall and spring semesters, bike maintenance classes, winter and summer bike storage, and has even opened up the campus's very own Augustana Bike Shop.

Students may ride the SAM metro bus system for free when presenting their Augustana IDs. Route 3 is near campus and Rout 2 stops on campus and provides connections to other routes throughout the city.
