We embrace undergraduate research opportunities that provide a rigorous and challenging academic experience which enhances applications for graduate and professional school.
Students who are involved in undergraduate research receive a value-added academic experience that dramatically improves their chances for admission to graduate and professional school. Students also benefit from the many partnerships Augustana has with regional, national and international labs and agencies, including the National Institutes of Health, which recently awarded Augustana a multi-million dollar grant to support undergraduate research and faculty scholarship in the biomedical sciences.
