Dr. Anne Oppegard joined the Augustana faculty in the fall of 1988. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where her dissertation was nominated for the Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Award. A native of North Dakota, she earned her bachelor's degree from Mary College (now the University of Mary) and her Masters of Accountancy from the University of North Dakota. Her primary teaching responsibilities are financial accounting (principles, intermediate, and advanced) and auditing. Dr. Oppegard has authored over twenty ancillary tools for accounting textbooks ranging in topic from introductory financial through graduate managerial. She serves in an appointed position on the Audit Committee for the City of Sioux Falls.
