Community Service Day
Community Service Day is an Augustana tradition that was once held in the spring, but now provides Augustana with unique way to kick-off our fall volunteer events.
Community Service Day 2012 will be Saturday, September 22.
Last year, on October 2, we celebrated service and a day to give back to Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. The day started off with 475 students, faculty, and staff gathering in the Augustana Commons dining hall. From there, each group prepared themselves for a fun-filled day of work. Altogether, these groups served 29 local non-profit organizations, logging more than 1,500 hours of service.
