Sanford Clinic Family Medicine is Augustana’s health service provider.

Services Provided:

• Routine outpatient medical care
• Diagnosis and treatment of illness
• Immunizations
• Travel consultation
• Limited diagnostic testing

Class Days (Monday thru Fridays)

Students are seen by a college nurse at the on-campus health service located in the lower level of Solberg Hall. No appointment is needed to be seen by a nurse.

Physician services at our off-campus clinic are available on weekday afternoons by appointment only. Students must be seen by a college nurse for evaluation before an appointment will be scheduled.

The off-campus clinic is located at Sanford Clinic-Family Medicine, 6110 S. Minnesota Avenue (SE corner of 69th & Minnesota)

Vacation Periods (during the academic year, September thru May)

In the event of an urgent health situation, students may contact the off-campus clinic (Sanford Clinic-Family Medicine at 605.328.5800). Be sure to identify yourself as an Augustana student.

During vacation periods and during the summer months when the health service is normally not open, non-urgent messages and requests for health form information can be left on the office’s voice-mail system (605.274.5552).

Cost

There is no cost for full-time students (and part-time students who have paid the student activities fee) to be seen by a college nurse, physician or other medical personnel at either the on-campus health service office or the off-campus clinic. Fees may apply for diagnostic testing and injectable medications.
