Saturdays at CWS — Augustana Album Tutorial

Date: Postponed
Time: 9-10 a.m.
Location: Center for Western Studies

The next "Saturdays at CWS" workshop coincides with Augustana's 2013 Viking Days celebration. CWS Collections Assistant Liz Thrond will be giving a free tutorial on the Augustana Album, a project spearheaded by the staff of the Mikkelsen Library during Augustana's recent Sesquicentennial.

The album is a free, online database of Augustana College and Augustana Academy publications, including yearbooks, student newspapers, and alumni publications.

Thrond, who finds herself using the resource on a weekly basis, recommends the tutorial for alumni, genealogists, and any Augustana staff who might find the tool useful in their work.

This event is free, but pre-registration is required. To register, contact Kristi Thomas, education assistant for the Center for Western Studies, at 605.274.4007. The Center for Western Studies is located in the Fantle Building at 2121 S. Summit Ave.

Please note the time change from past "Saturdays at CWS" workshops.
