Home Concerts for Augustana Band and Choir
SIOUX FALLS, SD – The Department of Performing & Visual Arts at Augustana announces two special concerts celebrating the return of the choir and band from their annual winter tours.
The Band will perform in the Great Hall at the Washington Pavilion on Friday, February 5, at 7:30 p.m. Pieces to be performed include Symphony No. 3, “Don Quixote,” by Robert W. Smith. The Augustana Wind Ensemble will also perform during the concert. The Augustana Band is directed by Dr. Bruce Ammann.
The Choir’s performance begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, February 6, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. This year’s concert is centered on the themes of Praise, Prayer, Promise, and Peace. The Choir is under the direction of Dr. James Johnson.

The Band tour opens January 28 and includes nine performances in Nebraska, Iowa, and Minnesota. The Choir tour also begins January 28 with all seven performances in Minnesota.
