EVENT DETAILS:

The 2010 Sioux Falls Winter Open Chess Tournament will be held on the Augustana campus on Saturday, February 6. The event is co-sponsored by the Sioux Empire Chess Foundation (SECF) and the Augustana College Chess Club.

The tournament has three different sections of competition: Open, Reserve (U1200), and Beginner (U800). This is a USCF-rated event, and a 2010 SECF Grand Prix event for the Reserve & Beginner sections. USCF membership is required for all sections.

Pre-event registration fees are $25 for Open section, and $10 for Reserved & Beginner sections. On site (late) registration is allowed. Fees are $30 for Open section, and $15 for Reserved & Beginner sections.
