SIOUX FALLS, SD – The annual Augustana Band Scholarship Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 10, in the Washington Pavilion’s Great Hall.

The theme for the 2010 concert is Baseball Fever and features the Augustana Band, Augustana Wind Ensemble, and the Augustana College/Community Concert Band. Featured is guest trombone soloist Mark Lawrence. The narrator is Brad Heegel.

Admission is $12 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the Augustana Box Office at 605.274.5320 or online at www.augietickets.com.

The Augustana Band and Wind Ensemble are under the direction of Dr. Bruce T. Ammann. Dr. Paul R. Schilf directs the Augustana College/Community Concert Band.
