Due to the poor weather today ... GREENFEST activities have changed, somewhat.
- We'll meet at 4 p.m. in the Siverson Lounge to hang out, play some games and plant seeds. (We'll have some outdoor games if you're willing to brave the weather.)
- Dinner is served in the Morrison Commons at the normal time (5-7 p.m.).
- The professor panel will still be at 7 p.m. in the Siverson Lounge (complete with t-shirt giveaways, fair trade coffee and chocolate).
Augie Green, the student organization dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and action, will present Greenfest beginning at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19.
The event will include lawn games on the Campus Green, bike rides, an environmentally-friendly meal in Morrison Commons and a panel discussion.
The panel discussion, “How Then Shall We Live: A Well-Rounded Approach to Environmental Living,” will be led by Dr. David O’Hara, assistant professor of philosophy; Dr. Dan Howard, assistant professor of ecology; and Dr. Bill Swart, associate professor and Sociology department chair. The discussion is free and open to the public. It will begin at 7 p.m. in the Siverson Lounge.
