The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery will present will present the High School Invitational Wednesday, Jan. 11, through Friday, Feb. 3. Closing events and an awards presentation are set for 5-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
Augustana will host "Space School Musical," produced and run by LifeScape at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the Edith Mortenson Center Theatre. Tickets are $10 each for adults and $5 for students.
Augustana will host the eighth annual South Dakota FIRST LEGO League Championship from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, in the Elmen Center. Teams from across South Dakota will compete at the event dubbed “a sport for the mind.”
"A Winter’s Tale: The Frozen Sea" is set for Sunday, Jan. 29, and will feature Dr. Sandra Looney, professor of English, as the mistress of ceremonies for a program of literature and music.
The Knutson Master Series at Augustana will present pianist Alfred Mouledous at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2, in Kresge Recital Hall. This event is free and open to the public. Learn more about this event, and future Master Series presentations throughout the 2016-17 academic year.
Students present on their various home countries at 3 p.m. on Fridays as part of the Rendezvous Program. The events, which are hosted by the International Program Office and Augustana International Club, are free and open to the public.
The Augustana University cheer team will hold a basketball cheer clinic for ages 4-13 from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Elmen Center. The cost for the clinic is $20 and includes an Augustana hair bow.
Augustana Performing & Visual Arts will present the production of “Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story” by Stephen Dolginoff at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 8-11 in the Edith Mortenson Center Theatre.
"Stills and Motion," a new exhibit featuring the works of photographer Xavier Tavera will open on Thursday, Feb. 9, at Augustana's Eide/Dalrymple Gallery. A reception is set for 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, with an artist's talk beginning at 7:30 p.m.
