Froemke Lecture to Feature Dr. Eric Munson '87

The John A. Froemke Chemistry Lecture Series presents "What Does NMR Stand For Again? A Chemist's Journey Through Augustana College and Beyond," by Dr. Eric Munson '87. The lecture starts at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, in the Mikkelson Auditorium of the Froiland Science Complex. A reception will be held beginning at 3:30 p.m. 

Rendezvous: Presentation on Norway

Students present on their various home countries at 3 p.m. on Fridays as part of the Rendezvous Program. The events, which are hosted by the International Program Office and Augustana International Club, are free and open to the public.

Recital to Feature Music by Duparc, Handel and Wagner

Faculty recital at Augustana University

The Performing and Visual Arts at Augustana University will present a faculty recital featuring Dr. Russell Svenningsen (tenor), Geoff Gunderson (guitar), Jenny Atkinson (violin) and Debra Reid (piano) at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, in Kresge Recital Hall.

Family Weekend

The campus of Augustana University sits on 100 acres in the center of the state's largest city.

Families of Augustana students are invited to visit us for Family Weekend Sept. 29 - Oct. 1. Planned weekend activities include volleyball, football, a family tailgate, theatre production, worship and more. 

Guest Artist Recital to Feature Pianist Alessandra Feris

Guest piano recital

Augustana Performing and Visual Arts is pleased to present a guest artist recital featuring Dr. Alessandra Feris, assistant professor of piano at the University of South Dakota. Dr. Feris will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3, in Kresge Recital Hall.  The recital is free, and open to the public.
