Nov. 10: 2nd Annual Reading Marathon to Read Fitzgerald's 'Gatsby'

On Saturday, Nov. 10, the Alpha Xi Mu chapter of Sigma Tau Delta (the international honors society for English majors and minors) will host its 2nd annual Reading Marathon beginning at 10 a.m. in Siverson Lounge.

This year, they will read F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby." Students and faculty will be reading throughout the course of the day with the reading beginning shortly after 10 a.m. and continuing until it is completed, sometime around 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served throughout the day, and the end of the reading will feature a prize giveaway.

Last year's November reading marathon included "Paradise Lost" by Milton.
