Join the Biology Department for its Fall Biology Seminars in the Gilbert Science Center.

Rendezvous Presentation on Tunisia

Students present on their various home countries at 3 p.m. on Fridays as part of the Rendezvous Program. The events, which are hosted by the International Program Office and Augustana International Club, are free and open to the public.

Randy Johnston: Ceramics

The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery will present Ceramics by Randy Johnston Wednesday, Oct. 8 - Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014. A gallery reception is set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8 with an artist's talk at 7:30 p.m.

Sonya Kovalevsky Day

Sonia Kovalevsky Day features a program of hands-on workshops and talks for junior high and high school girls and their teachers. The purpose of the day is to encourage young women to continue their study of mathematics and to assist the teachers of women mathematics students.

Science Day

Biology students at Augustana

Augustana's Science Day on Friday, Oct. 10, provides high school students with hands-on science experience. Areas of science included are: biology, chemistry, computer science, health, physical education & recreation, mathematics, nursing, and physics. Sessions and activities take place in the Gilbert Science Center.

Tenor Russell Svenningsen, assistant professor of music and director of the Collegiate Chorale at Augustana, will hold a vocal recital at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, in Kresge Recital Hall.
