Through Dec. 12: Eide/Dalrymple Gallery Exhibit
The juried exhibit "Creative Types: Graphic Design Invitational" is open through Thursday, Dec. 12, in the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery. A reception for the show was held on Friday, Nov. 22, in the Gallery.
"Although we encounter aspects of graphic design in numerous media almost every waking minute of our lives, we rarely pause to consider the process and range that goes into successful projects that become a part of our media-driven world," said Lindsay Twa, director of the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery. "This exhibition highlights the art of great design that is currently being created in the Sioux Falls area. The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at Augustana College invited some of Sioux Falls and the region’s top design firms and graphic design professionals to exhibit examples of their work from the past three years, and write about their design philosophy. We invite our viewers to contemplate the aesthetics and visual impact of these designers’ original and dynamic solutions for a range of design categories, from posters, brochures, video and website design to innovative installations."
