High school students from around the region will display their talents at the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery during the month of January. The exhibition of more than forty student-artists will be on view through Wednesday, Jan. 29. A wide range of mediums will be exhibited, including digital photography, painting, printmaking and ceramics.
“I think that our viewers will be very impressed at the quality of art being created in our state’s high schools,” notes gallery director Lindsay Twa. The exhibition will be juried by members of the Augustana Art Department, who will be making awards of art supplies and up to three grand prizes of $2000 Augustana Pro Artis scholarships.
The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery is located on Commons Circle (30th Street and Grange Avenue), in the Center for Visual Arts at Augustana College. The gallery is open to the public and free of charge. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday noon to 5:00 p.m. Closed Sundays.
