ACT Prep Camp at Augustana
Augustana is offering its first ACT Prep Camp, designed to help students achieve their best possible score on the ACT.
Over June 5-8 (Monday-Thursday), students entering grades 10-12 this fall will receive 24 hours of instruction from accredited teachers in each of the key ACT areas: math, science, English, reading and writing. Students will learn strategies for mastering every section of the college entrance exams.
There’s also time for fun — camp attendees will get to experience life on a college campus, located in the heart of South Dakota’s largest city. Classes will take place in the new Froiland Science Complex and students will stay on campus in residence halls.

About the Camp
The ACT Prep Camp is provided in part with scholarship funds from the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation.
College admission officers agree that the ACT score is considered the second most important factor in the college application process. Improving your score can have a major impact on admission to your choice school — and potential scholarship awards. Many students decide their scores are “good enough” without realizing their true potential. Depending on your starting score, more points can help you to get into your dream college, expand your program choices and increase your scholarship opportunities.
