The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at Augustana University will feature “Life with the Arts: The Eide Ceramics Collection and Paintings and Drawings” by Augustana alumna and PVA Hall of Fame inductee, Diane J. (Hinsvark) Eide '58. The homecoming gallery reception will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 7-9 p.m., featuring a gallery talk beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The Augustana Band presents their fall concert at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 25, in the Hamre Recital Hall.
Students present on their various home countries (usually) at 4 p.m. on Fridays as part of the Rendezvous Program. The events, which are hosted by the International Program Office and Augustana International Club, are free and open to the public.
The Augustana Fall Choral will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Tickets for the event are $15 for adults, $10 for Seniors (65+) and free for students K-12 and those with an Augustana ID.
Saturday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m. is Augustana's annual Be Bold. Wear Gold. football game. The game is supporting Sanford Children's Hospital, and Augiethon is selling gold beanies as a way to both promote the gold theme and raise money for Children's Miracle Network.
Augustana Orchestra with South Dakota Symphony Youth Orchestra will hold a concert beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, at Lorang Theatre in the O'Gorman High School.
Augustana's Diversity and Inclusion Office and the Chabad Jewish Center of South Dakota welcome speaker Eva Schloss, stepsister of Anne Frank, to campus on Tuesday, Oct. 29. The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Elmen Center.
The Augustana Library Associates will present author Julie Schumacher at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, in the Hamre Recital Hall.
