Augustana University will host an evening with Dr. Stephen Coyne, author of the award-winning "It Turns Out Like This," at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, in room 331 of the Humanities Center.
The event will include a book signing and is free and open to the public.
About Stephen Coyne
Dr. Stephen Coyne serves as a professor of English at Morningside College.
His book, "It Turns Out Like This," won the Midwest Independent Publishers Association’s Book Award as well as the Many Voices Award from New Rivers Press.
His short stories and poems have appeared in The Southern Review, The Georgia Review, The New England Review, North American Review, and elsewhere. He has won a Robert’s Writing Award, a Heartland Fiction Prize and a Prairie Schooner Reader’s Choice Award.
His story, “Hunting Country,” was chosen as one of the best stories published about the South. His story, “Iceboy,” won the New Millennium Prize for Fiction.
