Norwegian singer/songwriter Ann-Marita Garsed will perform an acoustic concert, “Scandinavian Roots,” at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 14, in Beaver Creek Lutheran Church at Augustana Heritage Park (1111 W. 33rd St., Sioux Falls).

Sponsored by Daughters of Norway Borghild Dahl Lodge and Nordland Heritage Foundation, this event is a benefit for the two sponsoring nonprofit organizations.

Tickets will be available at the door for a suggested donation of $10 per person. Seating is very limited, so please arrive early.

About Ann-Marita Garsed

Singer, songwriter and performer Ann-Marita Garsed’s road to success has led her from birth and childhood in Geirangerfjord, Norway, to Los Angeles, California. Accompanying herself on acoustic guitar, Ann-Marita will perform her solo show, “Scandinavian Roots,” featuring traditional Norwegian folk songs and original compositions about Nordic immigrants. She has performed at the Norway Day Festival (San Francisco, California), Norsk Høstfest (Minot, North Dakota), and numerous other Scandinavian festivals around the country.
