  • Commencement Weekend

    Commencement events honoring the Class of 2013 will be held May 23-25 on campus. Learn more about the President's Social, Senior Celebration, the Reception for Civitas Graduates, the Nurse Pinning Ceremony, Baccalaureate and the Commencement Ceremony.

  • Summer Scholar Camp at Augustana

    Over afternoon sessions starting June 4, high school students of all ages will learn by focusing on relevant and compelling topics, rigorous content and test/college preparation. Space is limited; register today.

  • Oct. 11: Vice Presidential Debate-Watch

    The Augustana Republicans, Augie Dems and the Committee of Undergraduate Political Scientists (C.O.U.P.S.) are sponsoring a viewing of the vice presidential debate beginning at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, in GSC 100. The event is open to all Augustana students and faculty members. 

  • Oct. 11-Nov. 10: Gallery Features Domonique Venzant '02

    The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at Augustana hosts “Sine Qua Non,” a new installation of ceramics and sculpture by Domonique Venzant '02, through Nov. 10. Venzant begins with basic forms like cylinders, bowls and teapots, which then evolve into extemporaneous interpretations of these forms.

  • Oct. 9: Author Catherine Friend to Speak on Campus

    Award-winning Minnesota author Catherine Friend will speak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9, in Kresge Recital Hall. The event is presented by the Augustana Library Associates.

  • Oct. 8: Marine Explorer Thorleif Thorleifsson Public Lecture

    Norwegian mariner Thorleif Thorleifsson will present a public lecture on "A voyage Around the North Pole: Modern Exploration and Climate Change” on Monday, Oct. 8, in Kresge Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

  • Oct. 5-7: Viking Days 2012 - "Going for the Blue and Gold"

    Viking Days 2012 is October 5-7. Classes ending in 2 and 7 will celebrate reunions on Friday, October 5. All of your favorite Viking Days activities are taking place on campus again this year. Get your tickets now!

  • Oct. 5: Biology Discussion on Antimicrobial Compounds, Dry Eye and Bed Bugs

    Associate Professor of Biology at James Madison University Dr. Kyle Seifert, Augustana class of 1997, will discuss "Antimicrobial Compounds, Dry Eye, and Bed Bugs – Three Collaborative Research Projects at James Madison University" at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, in GSC 101.

  • Oct. 5: Seventh Annual Career Symposium

    Join us for the seventh annual Career Symposium on Friday, Oct. 5, where regional industry leaders representing various fields will give first-hand accounts of their experiences in various classrooms across campus.

  • Oct. 4-7: Viking Varieties

    Augustana and the Department of Performing and Visual Arts presents the 59th annual Viking Varieties, the only all-Augustana variety show and one of the College's oldest and most beloved traditions. Shows run October 4-7 in the Edith Mortenson Center Theatre.

  • Sept. 30: Recital Celebrates Seven Decades at the Piano

    Augustana Piano Instructor and Sioux Falls native Solveig Steen has been playing the piano for the last 71 years. Learn more about her and her upcoming recital with Dr. Rick Andrews, set for 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30, in Kresge Recital Hall. The concert will feature Bach’s “My Heart Ever Faithful,” Schumann’s “Andante and Variations,” and other selections.

  • Sept. 28-30: Celebrate Freshmen-Parent Weekend 2012

    Family of first-year Augustana students are encouraged to join us for Freshmen-Parent Weekend on September 28-30. This weekend is dedicated to welcoming parents to campus and into their student's life.
