  • Commencement Weekend

    Commencement events honoring the Class of 2013 will be held May 23-25 on campus. Learn more about the President's Social, Senior Celebration, the Reception for Civitas Graduates, the Nurse Pinning Ceremony, Baccalaureate and the Commencement Ceremony.

  • Summer Scholar Camp at Augustana

    Over afternoon sessions starting June 4, high school students of all ages will learn by focusing on relevant and compelling topics, rigorous content and test/college preparation. Space is limited; register today.

  • Summer Conferences and Events

    During the summer, Augustana is home to numerous conferences, camps, and events. This week's events include the Sioux Empire Community Theatre camp.

  • July 27: Augustana Summer Visit Days

    Prospective students and their families are invited to take some time this summer to get a jump-start on the college search by planning a visit to Augustana College. The Office of Admission will be hosting Summer Visit Days throughout the summer.

  • July 14-15: Archeology Days — The Past is Beneath Your Feet

    You Are Invited to Discover the Past: It’s Beneath Your Feet! With hands-on events at the site, Archeology Days is Saturday and Sunday, July 14-15, at the Mitchell Prehistoric Indian Village in Mitchell, S.D.

  • Sundays: Tours of Newly Renovated Heritage Park

    Take a step back in time at Heritage Park, a collection of historic Great Plains buildings from the late 19th and early 20th century. Visit the Beaver Creek Lutheran Church, Berdahl-Rolvaag House, Eggers School House and the Rolvaag Writing Cabin, where Ole Rolvaag wrote the best-selling book, "Giants in the Earth." The Park's summer tours are offered each Sunday from 2-4 p.m. through Aug. 26.

  • June 12: CWS Presents 'Adventures of a Private Collector'

    The Center for Western Studies (CWS) hosts its 23rd annual June Event dinner and program on Tuesday, June 12, with a program titled, "Adventures of a Private Collector," featuring a discussion by local art collector Larry Ness.

  • June 8: 20th Annual Augustana Sam Milanovich Golf Tournament

    The Augustana Sam Milanovich Golf Tournament supporting endowed scholarships awarded to student-athletes will be Friday, June 8, at Willow Run Golf Course.

  • Through Aug. 25: Gibbs' Collection of American West and Regional Art Tribute Exhibition

    The Center for Western Studies at Augustana presents the "Frank & Jan Gibbs' Collection of American West and Regional Art: A Tribute Exhibition and Sale," through Saturday, Aug. 25. The Center is located in the Fantle Building at 2121 S. Summit Ave. in Sioux Falls.

  • Through Sept. 2: Eide/Dalrymple Features Juried Student Invitational

    Students from Augustana’s art classes are exhibiting a wide variety of works in the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery’s annual Juried Student Invitational, on view through Sunday, Sept. 2. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

  • May 17-19: 2012 Commencement Weekend

    Celebrate with the Augustana College Class of 2012 during Commencement Weekend. Festivities start on Thursday, May 17, leading up to the Commencement Ceremony at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, at the Sioux Falls Arena.

  • May 17: Syttende Mai Celebrations

    On Thursday, May 17, Syttende Mai celebrations — commemorating Norwegian Constitution Day — will feature exhibits, Norwegian food and games at First Lutheran Church in downtown Sioux Falls. The event begins at 4:30 p.m.
