    Over afternoon sessions starting June 4, high school students of all ages will learn by focusing on relevant and compelling topics, rigorous content and test/college preparation. Space is limited; register today.

    Keynote speakers for 2010 Lighting The Way conference are Dr. Stephen Shore and Dr. Cathy Pratt. There are 35 breakout sessions covering education, medical, and adolescent and adult topics.

  • Robert Aldern Exhibit at Eastbank Art Gallery

    Eastbank Art Gallery announces a new limited edition Giclee, Believers Looking Forward by Robert Aldern, an Artist in Residence at Augustana and emeritus professor of Art. The work of Kiel Mutschelknaus, a 2007 Augustana graduate, is also showcased.

  • Augustana Hosts Lee Piano Competition

    The Seventh Biennial Lee Piano Competition, hosted by Augustana College, features competitors from across the country, ranging in age from 15 to 28, competing for a total of $5,850 in cash awards.

    The Sioux Falls Business Journal and Augustana College are partnering to announce the second Sioux Falls Business Conference “Succeeding in the New Economy” on Wednesday, June 2, on Augustana's campus.

    The juried works of Augustana art majors are showcased at the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery through August 27. Ten current students are featured in the exhibit, with many works for sale.

  • Syttende Mai Norwegian Constitution Day

    Sponsored by Nordland Fest, Syttende Mai (Norwegian Constitution Day) will be celebrated Monday, May 17, 2010, at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. A reception, exhibits, Scandinavian buffet and a program are features.

  • Traveling Colombian Exhibit

    Remember Me: Voices of the Silenced in Colombia, a traveling art exhibit sponsored by Lutheran World Relief, is on display through May 16 in the Morrison Commons Siverson Lounge. Created and inspired by victims of violence, the art comes directly from Colombia.
