  • Summer Scholar Camp at Augustana

    Over afternoon sessions starting June 4, high school students of all ages will learn by focusing on relevant and compelling topics, rigorous content and test/college preparation. Space is limited; register today.

  • Fourth Annual Augustana Women's Football Clinic

    The final episode of the PBS series Time Team America features Augustana College's Dr. Adrien Hannus as the archeologists' team leader. Tonight they explore the site of Fort James that is located south of Mitchell, SD on the property of the Rockport Hutterite Colony.

  • Augustana Hosting Conference on Deaf Education

    Augustana College, which offers a major in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, is hosting the Midwest Conference on Deaf Education, July 19-21. The mission of the conference is to provide professional development opportunities to individuals who work with deaf and hard of hearing youth.

  • Northlanders Perform Saturday at JazzFest

    Augustana's Northlanders Jazz Band will perform at this weekend's JazzFest on Yankton Trail Park's main stage Saturday, July 18, at 3:00 p.m. Featured guest soloists are Mr. Chris Vadala on saxophone and Mr. Jeff Jarvis on trumpet.

  • Augustana Students Participating in Archeology Days

    Included are ongoing excavation and lab activities in the enclosed, air-conditioned Thomsen Center Archeodome, where students from Augustana and the University of Exeter, England, are participating in a field school.

    Works by Scott Parsons, Assistant Professor of Art and Anthropology, are on exhibition at Eastbank Art Gallery & Studio in Sioux Falls through August 29. Parsons currently teaches all levels of undergraduate Drawing and Printmaking at Augustana.
