• Augustana Hosts Holocaust Symposium, Exhibit

    The Eide-Dalrymple Gallery, in a joint exhibit with the Washington Pavilion, is hosting a show of Holocaust paintings by Fritz Hirschberger. A symposium at Augustana focusing on the Holocaust will be Saturday, February 7.

    Augustana alumnus Lars Gjerde returns to South Dakota to perform a program of solo organ music at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.  Mr. Gjerde will also present his program at the American Lutheran Church in Huron, SD.

    The Center for Western Studies at Augustana College is hosting a book talk and signing by Dr. Jeff Johnson, assistant professor of history at Augustana, for his new book “They Are All Red Out Here”: Socialist Politics in the Pacific Northwest, 1895-1925.

    Seven Augustana student-artists have had artwork accepted for the University Invitational at the Washington Pavilion in downtown Sioux Falls.  The exhibition is open to student-artists from all South Dakota colleges and universities.
