  • Nov. 25: National Debt Discussion

    The national debt, the federal budget, and how they will impact young Americans and future generations will be the topic of the Generational Equity event at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25, in room 100 of the Gilbert Science Center.

  • Through Dec. 12: Eide/Dalrymple Gallery Exhibit

    The juried exhibit "Creative Types: Graphic Design Invitational," a collection of great design work originating in the Sioux Falls area, is open through Thursday, Dec. 12, in the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery.

  • Video: Augustana Presents Plain White T's and Parachute

    See the video from Tuesday, Nov. 19, when Augustana hosted Grammy-nominated pop-rock quintet Plain White T's and pop-rock band Parachute at the Washington Pavilion. Tommy and the High Pilots opened the show.

  • Nov. 18: Northlanders, All City Jazz

    The Augustana Performing and Visual Arts will present the All City Jazz Concert featuring the Northlanders Jazz Band and the All City High School Jazz Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, in Kresge Recital Hall.

  • Nov. 18: Medicine and Ethics

    As a part of the senior capstone course, “The Ragged Edge of Life: ‘Hot’ Topics in Medicine and Ethics,” Carol J. Cressman BSN, RN CPN, CCRN, will discuss “Organ Donation and Transplantation: A Story to Tell"  at 5 p.m. today in GSC 100.

  • Nov. 18: Poet Maria Mazziotti Gillan

    The Department of English and Journalism presents an evening of poetry featuring award-winning poet and author Maria Mazziotti Gillan at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, in the Humanities Center, room 123. The event is free and open to the public.

  • Nov. 17: Anniversary Celebration of the Augustana Chapel Organ

    Please join us as we celebrate the history of our chapel organ at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17, at the Chapel of Reconciliation. This event will feature the work of organist, composer and alumnus Lars Gjerde '02 with composer and scholar Scott Perkins, and will include solo organ pieces, hymn arrangements for organ and brass, and a performance by The Augustana Choir.

  • Nov. 15-16: Band Festival and Gala Concert

    The Augustana Department of Performing and Visual Arts will present a Band Festival Gala Concert at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Washington Pavilion. The event is a part of the 56th Annual Augustana Band Festival, set for Friday, Nov. 15, in the Humanities Center.

  • Nov. 12: Lecture on 'Responsible Public, Responsible Journalism'

    Serving as the 2013 Civitas Iverson Lecture speaker, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Geneva Overholser will discuss “Responsible Public, Responsible Journalism,” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, in Kresge Recital Hall.The event is free and open to the public.

  • Nov. 11: National Geographic Photographer Jodi Cobb

    National Geographic Photographer Jodi Cobb will speak about her career as a global story explorer at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, in Kresge Recital Hall. The event is sponsored by the Augustana International Club and coincides with International Education Week.
