Fingerprinting for Background Checks
Fingerprinting services are offered to members of the Augustana University community who need fingerprints for licensing, citizenship, intership applications, etc. A valid photo I.D. and Augustana University I.D. are required. The Department of Campus Safety does have some fingerprint cards but it is best for you to bring the correct fingerprint cards required for your specific background check.
Fingerprinting costs $10 per card and can be done any time simply by stopping by the Campus Safety office located on the main level of the Morrison Commons. The fee can be paid in cash or billed to your campus account.
Other fingerprinting options include the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office located at the Law Enforcement Center, 320 W. 4th St. Cost is $12.50 per card and they accept cash or check and credit card with an additional fee. Fingerprinting is provided at the Sheriff's Office on Tuesday and Wednesday, Noon to 5:00pm and on Thursday, 9:00am to 2:00pm. A valid driver license is required and must be shown at the time of fingerprinting.
