"All members of the Augustana Art Department met in September to nominate and select the five art majors who are representing Augustana College in the University Invitational. The students were selected based on the strength of their public portfolio reviews the previous spring, their leadership within the art department, and on the work that they were currently producing," said Dr. Lindsay Twa, assistant professor of art and director of Augustana's Eide/Dalrymple Gallery. "The Augustana Art Department is proud of its art majors — dedicated and hard-working students who have chosen the demanding path of a creative vocation in order to challenge, inspire, and transform themselves and their world."
