Auditions for Black Hills Playhouse to be Held at Augustana Feb. 14

The Black Hills Playhouse in Custer State Park will be auditioning actors and interviewing technicians on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Augustana's Edith Mortenson Theatre.
Technical interviews will be held from 3-5 p.m.; acting auditions will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Evening auditions will also be held for the South Dakota Shakespeare Festival from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
For more than 60 years, the Black Hills Playhouse has been presenting professional theater entertainment in breathtaking Custer State Park. This year the BHP will present "Run for your Wife," "Godspell," "The Drowsy Chaperone" and "The Three Musketeers."

Acting candidates should prepare one to two contrasting monologues and 16 bars of music. Both monologues and music should be under three minutes. Technicians should bring a portfolio or examples of their work for their interview.
