West, Horsley Crowned Viking Days 2012 King and Queen


In true Olympic fashion, seniors Dylan West and Sanna Horsley were crowned King and Queen of Viking Days 2012 during Augustana’s “Opening Ceremonies and Coronation Show” Monday at the Elmen Center.

West is a psychology and exercise science major with a minor in religion and fitness management from Farmington, Minn. Horsley is a journalism and communications major from Sioux Falls, S.D.

Joining West and Horsley as members of the Royal Court are: Maren Engel '13, a music and classics major from Owasso, Okla.; Kayla Gerlach '13, a nursing major from Stickney, S.D.; Coral Hanson '13, a communication disorders major with a minor in mathematics and chemistry from Andover, Minn.; Kelly Wong '13, a biology and modern foreign language major with a minor in chemistry from Custer, S.D.; Paul Berndt '13, a biology major from Mankato, Minn.; Adam Jorde '13, a business administration and Spanish major from McLean, Va.; Gentry Pletts '13, a business administration major from Chanhassen, Minn.; and Thad Titze '13, a government major from Watertown, S.D.
