Finalists for 2014 Peace Scholarship Announced

Juniors Christian Einertson, Ellen Ferry, Aimée Fisher, Eric Herst and Erin Williams have been named finalists for the 2014 Peace  Scholarship, a prestigious honor featuring a seven-week study at the University of Oslo's International Summer School. The two recipients will be announced on Thursday, Feb. 20.

Augustana Announces Revised Dates for Viking Days 2014

After surveying alumni and friends following Viking Days 2013, Augustana has announced its decision to move the date of Viking Days 2014 from the previously scheduled Oct. 31-Nov. 2 to Sept. 26-28. More details about this weekend, including plans for an All-Class Reunion recognizing the classes ending in 4 and 9, will be announced soon.

Choir Members Invited to Perform at NYC's Lincoln Center

Student members of Angelus (Augustana's women's choir) and the Collegiate Chorale will participate in a performance of Robert Harris' "Gloria" as part of the DCINY Concert Series in Lincoln Center's Alice Kelly Hall on Saturday, May 10, in New York City.

Crosstown Competition Benefits Local Nonprofits

Last week, Augustana students turned a crosstown rivalry into a benefit for those in need. The "Sioux Falls Showdown," a collaborative effort between Augustana and the University of Sioux Falls, featured clothing and food drives and gave students a chance to serve meals at the Banquet.
