Princeton Review Names Augustana a 'Best in the Midwest'

Augustana has again been ranked among the best colleges in the Midwest, according to the nationally known education services company, The Princeton Review. Earlier this month, the College was listed among the nation’s best colleges and universities in Forbes’ annual list of “America’s Top Colleges.” 

Augustana President, Alumna to Speak at TEDxSiouxFalls

Augustana President Rob Oliver and class of 2012 graduate Hannah Miller are among the speakers at TEDxSiouxFalls, an event designed to share ideas, rouse creativity and inspire good things, set for Saturday, Aug. 25. Themed, “Modern Pioneers," the event will feature a series of speakers with South Dakota ties, each presenting their perspectives on the future of the community.

Augustana Mourns Loss of Athletics, Financial Aid Official Larry Borgum '61

Larry Borgum ‘61, a longtime and beloved Athletics and Financial Aid official for Augustana, died on Monday, Aug. 6. He was 73. "Borgie," as he was known, joined the College in 1967 and served in various roles during his tenure, supporting Athletic Services, Sports Information, the Athletic Business Office and Financial Aid. Services are set for Saturday, Aug. 11.

Senior Megan Baker Awarded Fellowship to Work in Moldova

Senior Megan Baker has been awarded the prestigious American Cultural Ambassadors Fellowship for her project, “Bringing the World Together – One Ability at a Time,” a camp for people with special needs in Moldova.
