Friendship Families Sought for International Students

Dr. Paul Schilf Named Executive Director for SDMEA

Dr. Paul Schilf, assistant professor of music, has been named the executive director of the South Dakota Music Education Association. In his new role, Schilf will be responsible for providing leadership and advocacy for music education throughout the state. He will maintain his post at Augustana while serving in this new position.

Augustana Mourns Loss of Alumni, Board Members

The College remembers Dr. John VanderWoude Jr., Augustana class of 1974 and a member of the Board of Trustees since 2002, and Gerald (Jerry) Knudson, Augustana class of 1965 and a member of the Board from 2005-2010. Visitation for VanderWoude will be held on Sunday, July 15, and a memorial service is planned for Monday, July 16. Memorial services for Knudson will be announced in the near future.
