Jazz Time will feature the Northlanders Jazz Band, the All-City Middle School Jazz Band and special guest Matt Niess, lead trombonist for the U.S. Army Blues Jazz Ensemble. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5.

Five Augustana alumnae are among 44 nominees for the 38th annual YWCA Tribute to Women Awards, an honor recognizing women who are role models in their respective fields. The Tribute to Women Awards Celebration is set for Thursday, March 24, at the Washington Pavilion.

Sixty area boys and girls basketball teams will face off to raise money for local non-profits, such as Feeding South Dakota. Last year, the event raised more than $3,000. The tournament runs March 18-20.
