Following today's historic announcement that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has resigned, student members of the Augustana Band are set to share experiences from their recent Egyptian Tour. The discussion is free and open to the public and begins at 3 p.m. today in Kresge.
Exhibition Features Internationally Acclaimed Printmaker

“Juxtapositions: Prints by Michael Goro,” features Chicago-based, internationally-known printmaker Michael Goro. A reception at Augustana’s Eide/Dalrymple Gallery is set for 5-7 p.m. on Friday and will include a gallery talk by the artist. The reception and the exhibit are free and open to the public.

Augustana to Go Red for Heart Health Awareness

To support heart health awareness and in recognition of American Heart Month, Augustana is proclaiming Friday, Feb. 4, as Wear Red Day. Throughout February, the College will promote heart health and educate faculty, staff and students about cardiovascular diseases.
Final Group of Augustana Band Members Set to Arrive in Sioux Falls at 4:25 p.m. Today

The final group of Augustana Band members and Band leadership, known as the "Cleopatra" group, has arrived in Minneapolis. The group will fly to Sioux Falls on Delta Flight No. 9857, scheduled to arrive at 4:25 p.m. A bus will transport students from Sioux Falls Regional Airport to campus.

5 a.m. MONDAY UPDATE: Final Group of Students Await Departure from Cairo International Airport

Early this morning, Augustana officials confirmed that student members of the Augustana Band and other members of the group’s Egyptian Tour, known as the “Cleopatra” group are at Cairo International Airport, awaiting takeoff on Delta’s KLM Flight No. 554, which was scheduled to depart at 12:30 p.m. today (4:30 a.m. CST).
7 a.m. MONDAY UPDATE: Last Group of Students Out of Cairo; En Route to Amsterdam

All members of the Augustana Band's Egyptian tour have left Egypt. Students and other members of the group’s Egyptian Tour, known as the “Cleopatra,” group are now en route to Amsterdam, where they are scheduled to arrive at 10:25 a.m. CST.
