As the academic year comes to an end, the Department of Modern Foreign Languages announces multiple academic achievement awards and inductions into student honor societies.
Three Augustana students participated in the 2010 Mathematical Contest in Modeling, competing against 2,254 teams representing institutions from 14 countries. The contest was primarily an online competition.
Ann Hollander Hanson-Hobot, class of 1985, is the recipient of a 2010 Teacher Outstanding Performance (TOP) Award from the Anoka-Hennepin School District in Minnesota.

After leading for the majority of the tournament, the Augustana women's golf team has won the NCAA Super Region 3 Championship in Lake City, MN. Three Vikings finished in the top 10 individually.
Mary Moline, office coordinator for the Nursing Department, is the recipient of the 2010 “Augie Pride” Award, an annual award recognizing exceptional service by an Augustana employee.
