Sioux Falls Senior Wins Covenant Award for Excellence

Joe Coppock, a senior from Sioux Falls, is the recipient of the Augustana Covenant Award for Excellence. Coppock has pursued a double major—chemistry (ACS) and biology—and will graduate cum laude on May 24.

Bethany Jochim, a sophomore physics major from Pierre, SD, is the lead author of an article published in the Journal of Physics B: Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics, published by the Institute of Physics.

Andrea Krogstad, a junior from Baltic, SD, has been chosen to represent South Dakota at the second annual Student Congress June 20-27 in Lexington, KY, on the campuses of Transylvania and the University of Kentucky.

Omaha World Herald: 2003 Alumna Debuts New Musical

Amanda Miller, class of 2003, is the playwright behind a new musical in Omaha.  A project Miller started back in 2004, "Fat Girlfriend, the Musical" opened Thursday, April 16 at the Shelterbelt Theatre.
