In the wake of today’s news that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has died, Augustana University officials have announced that the Boe Forum on Public Affairs, originally planned for Wednesday, March 9, has been canceled.
Justice Scalia was to have been the featured speaker at the Forum for a discussion on "Whether the U.S. Constitution is a Living Document.”
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Scalia family, the members of the U.S. Supreme Court, and our nation at this difficult time,” said President Rob Oliver.

The Sioux Falls Business Journal takes a look at Augustana's new Froiland Science Complex. The $35 million facility is the largest and most complex building project in Augustana's 156-year history. Phase I of the project, a 41,000-square-foot addition at the corner of 33rd Street and Summit Avenue, opens for classes this week.

Members of The Augustana Choir are preparing for a performance tour of the Midwest during Spring Break, March 17-23. A home concert in Sioux Falls is planned for Sunday, April 3, at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls.
