Augustana Earns Top Ranking for Scholarship Opportunities

Augustana University is ranked among the top 10 universities nationwide for the number and size of scholarships it awards to students.
The ranking, titled "The 46 Best Colleges for Getting Big Merit Scholarships," is published by Time.com and facilitated by Money. It lists high-value schools where students “have a good chance of landing significant scholarship aid.”
Augustana is ranked No. 7 on the list, based on criteria that evaluates graduation rates, the percentage of merit scholarships awarded and the size of scholarships in comparison to total cost of attendance.
At Augustana:
- 86 percent of students graduate within four years.
- The job placement rate for recent grads is 98 percent with a mean starting salary of $43,471.
- 100 percent of students receive academic, talent and/or need-based financial assistance, with the average overall financial aid award (scholarships, grants, work-study and loans) coming in at $26,592 (for the AU class of 2020).
