What Can I Do With a Religion/Philosophy/Classics Major?
Studying philosophy, classics, or religion enhances our imagination, broadens our intellectual horizons, and frees us from the tyranny of custom, prejudice, and dogmatism.
Many religion majors go on to seminary, graduate school, and church-oriented vocations. Philosophy majors have pursued advanced degrees in philosophy, theology, medicine, counseling, and public administration. Each of the majors from this department is excellent preparation for many occupations because of the rigorous thinking, writing, and communication skills you learn. (Plus, don’t forget that Latin continues to be a valuable foundation for work in history, law, English, and medicine!)
