Film by Alumnus to Debut at Comic-Con in San Diego

"Dust of War," an independent film shot in South Dakota by alumnus Andrew Kightlinger '08, is set to make its premiere at San Diego’s Comic-Con later this month.
Comic-Con International, San Diego, is a nonprofit educational corporation dedicated to creating awareness of, and appreciation for, comics and related popular artforms, primarily through the presentation of conventions and events that celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of comics to art and culture.
“Dust of War” tells the story of a lone soldier who fends off a warmonger to rescue a girl fated to be the savior of mankind.The film was shot in South Dakota and many of the film’s crew hail from the Mount Rushmore State.
Recently, another film by Kightlinger, "Paper People," was selected for screening at the Palm Springs International ShortFest, held June 18-24.
