"A Winter’s Tale: Approaching the Unsayable" is set for Sunday, Feb. 1, and will feature Dr. Sandra Looney, professor of English, as the mistress of ceremonies for a program of literature and music.

Rendezvous Presentation on The Netherlands

Students present on their various home countries at 3 p.m. on Fridays as part of the Rendezvous Program. The events, which are hosted by the International Program Office and Augustana International Club, are free and open to the public.

Winter Junior Cheer Clinic on Feb. 7

Winter Cheer Clinic Youth

The Augustana College cheer team will hold a basketball cheer clinic for ages 5-12 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, on Feb. 7, at the Elmen Center. Cost for the clinic is $35 per participant.

Planned Giving 101 with Lowell Stortz '80

Join us for a Wednesday, Feb. 11, lunchtime primer on planned giving with Lowell Stortz '80, an expert in estate planning and charitable giving. Registration for the luncheon is required by Friday, Feb. 6.

Explore Augustana

Prospective students and their parents are invited to "Explore Augustana" for a day designed to acquaint them with the variety of academic and student life opportunities at Augustana through student and parent sessions, a campus tour, faculty discussions and time to discuss the College's scholarship and financial aid programs.

Third Sunday Archeology: "The Cahokia Kingdom”

February's installment of Augustana's Third Sunday Archeology Program will feature speaker Dr. Timothy Schilling, National Park Service Archeologist for the Midwest Archeological Center in Lincoln, Nebraska, on the topic “The Cahokia Kingdom: Urbanism and Nation Building in the Midcontinent” at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, at the Gilbert Science Center Auditorium (GSC #100).
