Medical laboratory science students study away in:
- Florida and the Gulf Coast — focusing on marine biology with AU faculty

- Guatemala and Belize — focusing on tropical ecology and Spanish immersion with AU faculty
- Germany — focusing on the chemical industry with AU faculty
- Kenya — focusing on global food insecurity and education with AU faculty
Courses & Organizations
Students can choose from two tracks:
- Three years at Augustana + one year in an affiliate program
- An Augustana degree in biochemistry, chemistry or biology + one year in an affiliate program
A prospective major must make an application to the professional medical laboratory science program during the fall of their junior year.
