Forward Sioux Falls Helps Fill the Gap, Provides Augustana Social Work Students With Paid Internships

The Forward Sioux Falls Campaign is generously supporting Augustana University’s Harriet Emily Scott Social Work Program — awarding the program $50,000 annually over the next five years. The Forward Sioux Falls Campaign is providing compensation for qualifying Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) students who are completing internships in health care-related fields.

Augustana University Spring 2026 Dean’s List Celebrates Nearly 900 Students

Augustana University announced students who have been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2025-26 academic year. This spring, the Dean's List recognizes 898 full-time students hailing from 23 states and 29 countries.

Six Augustana University students have been awarded Fred C. and J. Marie Christopherson Scholarships for the 2026-26 academic year. The recipients of the Fred C. and J. Marie Christopherson Scholarship are recognized as students who are committed to the university, respected by their peers, have a strong work ethic and a solid character.

International Nursing Exchange Students Find Second Home at Augustana University, Extend Stay

When Hannah Roland ‘26 and Knut Opheim ‘26 arrived at Augustana University, the Norwegian nursing students expected to stay for just one semester. Within weeks, a supportive community, busy campus life and new friendships convinced them to extend their stay to a full academic year.

Augustana University Partnering With Levitt at the Falls’ Share the Stage Program

Augustana University is partnering with Levitt at the Falls’ Share the Stage Program in support of local artists and their professional development. As a part of Augustana's sponsorship, the university will be hosting Share the Stage Opening Acts on five nights throughout the summer.
